Beautiful location really close to the Palenque archaeological site and also mishol waterfalls! Take a day trip and stay several days at this super relaxed location. It's beautiful!

They can generate a lot more income if they change the way they treat their customers. Rooms: The 15 cabanas housing 2-4 rooms. (38 rooms in total) on 2 floors are set on a hill top overlooking the lush green jungle. Sunset from the room is beautiful (i had a room on the second floor in the second row of cabanas) Rooms are spacious, bed is comfy and they all have air conditioning. location: in the first half of the road leading to the ruins but right in the jungle. You can hear howler monkeys and lots of birds during sunrise and sunset. It’s very peaceful. Food: Restaurant on site was empty every time I was there. There is a lovely Italian next door as well as a cocktail bar (Cafe Fuga, opens 5pm) and another restaurant (Paraiso) within 5 min walking distance. Pool: you can cool off in the pool from 7 am - 10 pm - they provide pool towels. Transport: Easiest way to get around is to take Colectivo from main road to ruins or town (10 min walk to main road, no street lights) Taxi into town is 50/60 MXN. Check In: Fast and easy. I turned up without a reservation. Price I was quoted was 800 MXN. I was able to negotiate the discount I would have gotten through Booking but I was surprised that they don’t offer lower rates than booing during low season. Payment: Fast and easy by credit card without fee. Wifi: available in the room but with weak signal and very unstable. Cleaningness: Area and rooms were clean. Customer Service: I didn’t see any genuine interest in staff wanting to serve customers, neither did I see anyone smiling…whether it was at the restaurant, maintenance or reception. I asked to have something fixed in my room, which they didn’t do. I’m a very open and happy person and chat with anyone so it didn’t bother me a lot but this is not the service you’d expect from a 3-star hotel. ↗Suggestions: Management needs to have a serious look at training their staff to improve service mindset. Restaurant menu needs to be revamped and include more healthy meals (customers have been asking), increase comfort in rooms i.e. with pen and paper, stronger wifi, replacing curtains with those that cannot be ripped. Beautiful hotel. The booking was perfect. Everything work out. There is one person on staff who speaks english. He is very friendly and helpful. The thatch roofs need to be realigned. They need raingutters in between the units becuase when it rains it pours and funnels through this area. I loved staying here and would stay here again. Fresh squeezed juice everyday and the breakfast is very good.
Loved it! About 2 miles from downtown, has pool and great walk ways. City has 3 mile bike route along main road to downtown. There's a paintball place about 1/2 a mile away. The pizza place next door and other restaurants within walking distance are delish. Perfect place to rest and relax, Wi-Fi available, if you don't want to completely disappear.
Lovely place, good rooms and service, nice pool. The Italian restaurant next to it has a really good food in a nice atmosphere. Also don't miss out on Cafe Fuga a few steps away.
Not far from Palenque town and ruins, to come here you need a car and a GPS. It is at the end of unpaved road. The rooms are spacious but little scruffy ( curtains torned) . The dinner was ok, but the restaurant close early ( 20:30). Also breakfast is starting from 8, not ok if you want to go early to Palenque ruins.
What a great hotel. Good service great location near the city in the middle of the jungle. Both the pool and the rooms could use some fixing and sometimes smell not to good. But overall good job
Great hotel for the price of a hostel. Clean, spacious, pretty in the jungle. Very flexible, they let us stay there before the check-in, use all facilities and leave our baggage there during a two day trip. The location is great, not to far away from town with colectivos to the ruins passing by regularly from the road further up, but far enough from town to get away from traffic sounds and get some peace in the beautiful forest.
